From Pangea to Parrsboro: The Story of The Bay of Fundy Dinosaurs

In this presentation, Regan Maloney, Fossil Lab Manager at the Fundy Geological Museum, will explore what Nova Scotia was like over 200 million years ago.

Today Parrsboro, Nova Scotia is a small community on the Minas Basin in the Bay of Fundy. Parrsboro 200 million years ago was in an arid valley filled with sand dunes and the occasional dinosaur. What happened to the dinosaurs and other creatures living in Parrsboro during The Late Triassic? How did sand dunes get replaced by the Bay of Fundy tides? Find the answer to these questions and more!
